The 20th Polish Film Festival begins on October 14. We are delighted to collaborate with the Polish Institute in Vilnius this year, presenting two films as part of the festival programme.

Norwegian Dream (dir. Leiv Igor Devold) will be screened four times in Vilnius, including a meeting with actor Hubert Miłkowski.

Nineteen-year-old Robert (Hubert Miłkowski) moves to Norway to pay off his family’s debts. He starts working at a salmon processing plant, where he meets Ivar (Karl Bekele Steinland). Eager to fit in with his colleagues, Robert hides his attraction to his co-worker. When the factory workers go on strike, Robert faces a dilemma: should he save his family by becoming a strikebreaker, or stand alongside Ivar and join the protest?

Erupcja (dir. Pete Ohs) will be screened twice in Vilnius and once in Klaipėda.

It is a hot summer in Warsaw. Bethany (Charli XCX) arrives in Poland for a romantic weekend with her boyfriend. But when she runs into her old friend Nel (Lena Góra), an inexplicable attraction sparks between them. Longing for a carefree escape, the two women wander through the sun-drenched city streets, putting off decisions that will shape the rest of their lives.
