On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Kreivės, we asked a few friends of the festival to choose and present a film that they feel is important in the context of queer cinema or that they personally like. The result is a very diverse and inspiring programme of Choices. Films from different periods and genres are presented by film director Romas Zabarauskas, film and visuality researcher, VU professor Natalija Arlauskaitė, cultural researcher, VMU professor Artūras Tereškinas, film critic Ilona Vitkauskaitė, and film and stage actress Elžbieta Latėnaitė. On September 15–18, the films will be screened at Vilnius Cinema Centre Skalvija and the cultural complex SODAS 2123, where the festival opening will take place.
Kreivės will also invite you to screenings of the traditional short film competition programme, special screenings, queer readings, an exhibition and other events dedicated to the 10th anniversary, all of which are already available or will soon be available at festivaliskreives.lt.
