Merlin and Sanela are transvestite prostitutes living in the suburbs of Belgrade. Merlin dreams of luxury, Sanela is in love with a bodybuilder and wants to marry him. For Merlin and Sanela, prostitution is a form of pacifism, a way to appease potential rapists and gamblers. Just like Merlin and Sanela, Johnny, who has returned home from war in Bosnia, also seeks peace, but his way is to kill people.
