Kreivės is a printed LGBT+ culture magazine dedicated to present, document and archive queer art and events in Lithuanian language. We invite the queer (and) art community to participate in the development of the magazine’s content. It is a space for LGBT+ creativity, thoughts, discoveries and stories.
Co-founders and editors
Janina Sabaliauskaitė is an artist and independent curator. Her work looks at the history of feminism, LGBTQ+ archives and addresses the issues of identity, gender, sexuality and desire. With a background in photography she works and collaborates between Lithuania and abroad.
Laura Varžgalytė is a graphic designer and publications curator who works with projects by the art and culture institutions, as well as the independent authors.
