Swedish Queer Archives and Museums: Artefacts, Moving Images and Sounds

Join Swedish queer archives and museums for an introduction to their collections and their work with preserving and sharing queer histories. QRAB – The Archives and Library of the Queer Movement, Arkivet för Rosa Brus – Archive of Pink Noises, SAQMI – The Swedish Archive for Queer Moving Images, Homografiska Museet and Unstraight Museum come together to present different approaches to queer cultural heritage through objects, sound and moving images.

The programme brings together material from the participating archives and museums, including objects from their collections, audio pieces and a screening of Queer Moving History 2, the film programme tracing queer struggles and the history of the Pride movement in Sweden from 1979 to 2019.
