Director: Ryan A. White
English, 12 min

Cult filmmaker Tom DeSimone revisits the production of a lost gay film and resurrects youthful adventures on the California coast, but nostalgia isn’t always 20/20 vision.

“Big Sur Gay Porn” is an ode to the queer possibilities of rural, outdoor spaces. It is a film about memory, history, and aging – as seen through one man’s stories of a very special place. The project explores rarely discussed LGBTQ+ experiences in one of America’s most popular tourist destinations, and continues inquiries about the documentary value of gay pornography.

Gods of the Supermarket
Les Dieux du supermarché

2022 / Switzerland / experimental

Director: Alberto Gonzalez Morales
English, French, 8 min

In times of body positive movements this film pays tribute to the mainstream representation of the male body which the director has a love-hate relationship with. Through a series of gleaned images from the internet and elsewhere, our cultural obsession with unrealistic beauty standards is put into question.

Spring at a Viennese Lake, but too cold to swim. Nobody there who wants to be filmed. A short film about the interchangeability and misunderstandings of digital communication. But also an intimate and humorous insight into the working methods of a filmmaker and questions of filmmaking in general.
