Vibrant images on screens, hugs, greetings, invitations, conversations, curtains. Everyone sees that. But what remains behind the velvet curtain of the cinema hall? On the occasion of its 10th birthday, the Vilnius Queer Festival “Kreivės” opens the doors of its home and lets you in to see the less visible side of the festival and its suppressed history.
Curation and execution of the exhibition: Augustas Čičelis, Anton Karyuk, Viktorija Kolbešnikova, Marija Martinaitytė.
The exhibition-installation is open during the Vilnius Queer Festival “Kreivės”: September 14, 3.00–6.00 PM; September 15, 3.00–6.00 PM; September 16, 1.00–2.30 PM; September 18, 1.00–3.00 PM. After the festival, until September 28, during the library working hours on Thursdays at 4.00–7.00 PM.
Address: išgirsti, Darbininkų g. 8-1 (open entrance, three steps up), Vilnius.
